About us baraka v2
Of mixed French descent, passionate about design, travel, and ecology, life took me from France to England, through the Caribbean, before finally settling in Spain.
This journey through different cultures has not only enriched my vision of design but also allowed me to explore a wide range of colors, lifestyles, and varied traditions.
I trained as an interior decorator in London and then worked for several years in renowned studios. There, I developed true expertise in the art of selecting and showcasing unique pieces, mastering the art of organizing harmonious spaces.
Over time, I deepened my sensitivity to contrasts, textures, and the influence of space on our well-being. Today, I bring this experience to Bara-ka, where the timeless charm of vintage pieces is harmonized with contemporary elements.
Over the years and through my discoveries, I can say that today, I have a good eye for recognizing and uncovering hidden treasures, collaborating with artisans and immersing myself in creation techniques. I carefully select each piece of furniture, not only for its beauty but also for the story it tells and the special character it brings to each space. The Bara-ka collection reflects this ongoing work, offering unique and eclectic pieces, all with that "wow factor" and "je ne sais quoi" that makes them memorable.
My commitment to ethical design comes to life through Bara-ka. By selecting vintage and designer furniture, I offer a sustainable alternative to traditional consumerism. I work with local artisans to bring often forgotten pieces back to life, choosing only furniture and decor sourced from Spain. At Bara-ka, I aim to create a space where authenticity and respect for ecological values are at the heart of every decision. My ambition is to offer you pieces that not only beautify your home but also connect you with stories, emotions, and a more reflective and inspired way of life.
Bara-ka is an invitation to redecorate your spaces with meaning. Objects from the past are given new life, regaining their own light and adding a touch of elegance to create more beautiful and promising interiors.
